O novo reitor da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF), Júlio Chebli, tomou posso hoje (4), em Brasília, para o mandato 2014-2018. A solenidade contou com a participação do Ministro da educação, Henrique Paim.
Júlio Chebli é formado em medicina pela UFJF e é doutor em gastroenterologia pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo, matéria da qual é professor na Faculdade de Medicina da UFJF. Foi chefe do Departamento de Clínica Médica e diretor da Faculdade de Medicina da UFJF. O reitor também é pesquisador pelo Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq) e orientador de residência médica e de pós-graduação do curso de saúde da Faculdade de Medicina da UFJF.
