A professora Sinay Santos Silva de Araújo, professora vinculada ao Centro de Apoio ao Ensino a Distância da UFMG (Caed), vai lançar nesta sexta-feira, 28 de novembro, o livro Cultura informacional e as representações sociais do ensino superior a distância: conceitos, práticas e repercussões (editora Appris). O evento de lançamento terá início às 17 horas, na Livraria Dom Quixote da Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas (Fafich), câmpus UFMG Pampulha.
A obra trata da cultura informacional que permeia o processo de ensino e aprendizagem a distância e que é construída, de acordo com a autora, por sistemas simbólicos que controlam e governam as ações e práticas informacionais dos sujeitos em uma sociedade. O objetivo da publicação é auxiliar estudantes, professores e pesquisadores das áreas da Ciência de Informação e da Educação. O livro, com 273 páginas, tem preço de capa de R$ 57.
