A cooperação tecnológica como forma de melhorar os serviços prestados pelo estado é o foco do workshop Desafios tecnológicos e oportunidades, que será realizado na quarta-feira, 10 de dezembro, das 8h30 às 12h30, pela Escola de Engenharia da UFMG, em parceria com a Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais (PMMG). O evento ocorrerá no auditório da Escola de Engenharia, campus UFMG Pampulha.
Em um primeiro momento, representantes da PMMG abordarão a rotina de trabalho e a infraestrutura da corporação. Em seguida, professores da Escola de Engenharia vão expor os projetos que a unidade desenvolve visando oferecer melhorias para a sociedade.
Após as palestras, serão discutidas propostas de cooperação entre as duas instituições para o desenvolvimento de projetos no âmbito tecnológico. O evento também reunirá estandes em que serão expostos artigos da PMMG, como veículos e equipamentos utilizados pela corporação.
