A Editora da UFC está presente na XI Bienal Internacional do Livro do Ceará com um estande de 40 metros quadrados, localizado no último corredor do pavilhão destinado às editoras, ladeada pelas congêneres da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) e da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG).
“O nosso espaço é o maior”, diz o Prof. Cláudio Guimarães, Diretor da Editora UFC. Os visitantes da Bienal poderão conhecer cerca de 2.000 títulos editados, desde as primeiras produções até livros de 2014, acrescenta o Prof. Guimarães.
A XI Bienal Internacional do Livro do Ceará, inaugurada sábado (6), no Centro de Eventos de Ceará, prossegue até dia 14 deste mês e reúne obras de escritores veteranos e estreantes, além de dar visibilidade a livros, autores, empresas e editoras. Um dos maiores contistas brasileiros, o cearense Moreira Campos, ex-professor da UFC, é lembrado no evento.
A Bienal também contempla diferentes segmentos da cena literária, do infantil ao acadêmico, do juvenil às biografias, dos livros para públicos mais específicos às publicações de maior apelo e resposta de público.
